A Fond Farewell For Jamacia

No one likely knew it north of the border. But from the time Jamacia Jackson was seven years old growing up in his native Sumter, S.C., he carried the nickname ‘Puddin’, according to The Hamilton Spectator.

Jamacia Jackson was one of three children, who because of family circumstances, came to live with stepmother Cleo Jackson and his father, James Jackson.

“I picked at him because you didn’t have a very good season last year,” said his stepmother. “And he told me ‘It’s OK, we have a really good quarterback.’ He would say, ‘You know you all have to come to a home game this season because I’m going to be starting.’
