HAMILTON — According to Drew Edwards, CJ Gable could miss up to four weeks with a hand injury. If so, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats running back could miss the season opener.
Gable missed all but seven games last season before suffering a season-ending injury following a solid rookie campaign in 2013. Last year he gained 130 yards on 30 carries while adding 224 yards out of the backfield on 18 receptions.
The 27-year-old’s injury comes as a set back however, the ‘Cats do have depth at tailback after picking up Nic Grigsby for the final third of last season.
