A New Leader Sits A Top The #CFLPickEm Leaderboard

Week 7 in the books and we have a new leader!

JGreenHorn had a good run, but he is gone.  Not even to be seen in the top 5.  We have a new leader, Chet48 has rocketed up the leaderboard with a perfect 4/4 100% confidence week in week 7.

We applaud you Mr.Chet48, a very nice accomplishment.  MichaelBMal we see you too, sneaking back into the top 2. Showing that with a big week anyone can jump into contention.

Week 7 started off with a BANG with the Lions pulling off the big time upset.  Only 25% of users chose the Lions with the Esks on a 4 game winning streak.  However, a big time 4th quarter comeback halted the Eskimos streak in it’s tracks. Edmonton travels to Montreal to face a reeling Als while the Lions face a powerhouse Ticats at Tim Hortons field where Hamilton has yet to lose a game… ever.

In game #2 the REDBLACKS staked their claim as a “for real” team with a big win at home over Montreal.  Having 52% of the picks, the REDBLACKS continued to build good will with the CFL PickEm faithful.  Montreal on the other hand, continues to slide now sitting at 2-4.

Game#3 saw the Riders fall to 0-7 at the hands of the favoured Argos.  The Riders are on bye this week so no opportunity to pick against Rider nation, though at 25% of the picks, it appears plenty out there still have hope in the Green.

Did the Tiger-Cats play at home? That’s all you need to know.  If the Ticats are the home team, you take them, with confidence until proven otherwise. As for the Bombers, they’ll be without Drew Willy for 6-8 weeks and will be tough sledding for their offence going forward.  They play the Argos on Friday night where we anticipate they’ll be big time underdogs.HAMWPG
