Is Bighill The Canucks Emergency Goalie Of The Future?

With starting goalie Ryan Miller on the shelf and G Eddie Lack holding down the fort in Vancouver, perhaps we found the Canucks an emergency goalie option…

Two weeks ago the Florida Panthers ran into big time trouble when both their goalies were injured during a game, almost forcing the goalie coach into game action.  Fortunately G Roberto Luongo was  able to return to action and no emergency tender was needed.

In Vancouver, the Canucks are now down to Eddie Lack and Jacob Markstrom after Ryan Miller suffered an injury and is out four-to-six weeks.  We wonder… Perhaps in an emergency situation the Canucks hockey operations staff should have BC Lions Linebacker Adam Bighill on speed dial…..

Is that chest protector really small or is Biggie just really big…? #repost @bighilla44 #goalieskills

Either way, if Bighill wants to get serious about his ball hockey game he might want to consider an adult sized chest protector. We asked Canucks goalie Eddie Lack what he thought of Bighill’s butterfly…

Looks like there really is hope for the Lions LB…
