CFL PickEm Update: Separating Yourself On The Leaderboard

MichaelBMal continues his early season run…

Continuing his stay a top the leaderboard, MichaelBMal continued his run going 3/4 this week only missing Monday night’s Argos vs. Stamps game.  He still sits almost 400 points ahead of second.  However, the “streak bonus” now comes into effect.  Should you get 5 correct picks in a row, you get a bonus 200.  It grows for every 5 picks correct.  Full bonus scoring can be found here.

This was the week of general parity in PickEm with no team registering more than a 31% underdog.  The games are becoming harder to pick with all the upsets so far this season and that showed in the pick trends in week 3.

The Week kicked off with the REDBLACKS finally getting some respect from the PickEm community, tagged as the favourites this week.  And what did they do with that good favour?  Lose in fantastic fashion.  I bet those 62% will remember this…

Next up was a closely picked game between the Bombers and the Als.  While many people we’re feeling the Rakeem Cato magic would repeat itself again, those that stuck with Drew Willy and the Bombers were rewarded.MTLvsWPG

The second half of the FNF Double Header really saw a swing of emotions from CFL PickEM Players across the country.  Those 69% really looked like they had a win locked up before Travis Lulay and the Lions decided otherwise, taking the game in OT.  So much for those precious PickEm points and what a win for the 31%!

Finally, Monday night concluded week 3 with a win from the Stamps, holding true to their 66% pick trend.  The Argos were the last undefeated team in the CFL and now with none, parity is in full effect in 2015.

Picks are already open for week 4, so get in there and log those picks as we’re on a short week with games picking up again on Thursday.
