At this point he should just have our jobs…
Another week and ANOTHER 4/4 for Travis Eklund… this guy is a machine. How is this possible?
Onto the weekly picks…
Game 1, well… it went just how we all thought. 96% of users took the Stamps and they were right. Calgary continues to be a great pick at home, while the Lions lost another QB in this game and will roll with a rookie next week ON THE ROAD in Edmonton.
While users looked like they had this one picked right as Hamilton was up on the Esks, the injury to Zach Collaros derailed the Ticats offence and the Eskimos were able to claw back into this one with two pick-6s. Collaros has been ruled out for the remainder of 2015 so how to pick the Ticats coming off the bye next week will be anyone’s guess. While The Esks offence looked troubled for most of this game, we still think they’re a good pick to bounce back at home against BC.
An ole’ fashioned shootout in Regina saw the REDBLACKS win this one with a last second field goal from former Riders kicker Chris Milo. Now at 1-11, it’s not getting better for the Roughriders as they now host a Montreal Alouettes team with their starter back coming off a big win over the Bombers. Ottawa on the reverse, is now solidly in second in the East and with the future of the Ticats murky, could start to look like the best team in the East. A game against Toronto this week will give us a serious look into who the best team in the East might be.
A third game for the majority, the Alouettes won easily over the Bombers as their starter in Jonathan Crompton returned to active duty. The Als travel to Regina this week to take on the reeling 1-11 Riders while the Bombers host the Stamps who boast the best record in the West. With the win Montreal now holds a crossover spot ahead of Winnipeg.
