#CFLPickem Week 12 – Are We Back To The Tough To Call CFL?

Travis Eklund continues to roll but are the games back to being hard to call after some easier weeks?

While he whiffed on the Calgary vs. Edmonton game, Travis still went 3/4 with a scoreboard as follows, always going 100% confidence with his picks!

Onto the games!

First off the Hamilton Tiger-Cats continued to roll over the Argos (and the rest of the league) by pulling out a another win.  Now 8-3 and 2 games ahead in the East, it’s starting to look like the East will go through Hamilton.  Hamilton hosts the Eskimos this Saturday in a game that the Eskimos will be looking for some revenge for as they got blown out at home last time they played Hamilton.  The Argos head to the bye.

In the second rematch of the week, the Roughriders could NOT make it 2 in a row, dropping the Banjo Bowl to the Bombers.  New (old?) QB Matt Nichols looked great in Bomber blue and looks to have added some stability to the Winnipeg offence.  The Bombers travel to Montreal this week while the Riders host the suddenly surging REDBLACKS after getting blown out by them in Corey Chamblin’s last game as head coach.

Finally over the hump.  The Edmonton Eskimos beat the Stamps for the first time in 12 tries and proved to not just themselves, but the CFL, that they can win the big game.  As for Calgary, the game was competitive and just a bump in the road.  The Stamps remain unbeaten at home this season, the only team that can boast this.  Should they win the West, their home field advantage will be huge.

The final game of the week saw the REBLACKS defeat the Lions who fall to 4-6 and barely ahead of the Bombers at 4-7.  The crossover potential for the East to go to the West is a real thing.

Don’t forget to lock in your picks for week 13!
