How Twitter And The Power Of A Free T-Shirt Changed One Fans CFL Allegiance

All it took was a trip to Hamilton, one seagull dropping and a Tweet to turn one fan against the Double Blue…

It all started when @MattDanFran was hanging out in Hamilton wearing his favourite Argos shirt when he was unexpectedly “attacked” by some Hamilton bird droppings…

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats were quick to respond, offering Matt a free Ticats shirt to replace his Argos one if he came by the Tiger Town store. Initially, it seemed Matt wasn’t going to do it…

The Argos were happy with Matt’s burn, and The Ticats just let him know they were ready for him…

But THEN! Matt showed up! Denouncing his Double Blue and posing in his new Ticats shirt in front of a Hamilton flag!

We think the Argos are right, Matt. You’ve got some explaining to do to Argos Nation…

Though it sounds like Matt might have other plans for his shirt.   But still, thumbs up in front of the Ticats flag… That’s a win for Tiger Town.

  1. I think the Argos might just have to help Matt out if he just happens to have a little accident happen to the to cat shirt.
