Sights Sounds and Social WEEK 17

Tickled PINK

Another week in the #CFL and another installment of Sights, Sounds and Social.

This week in the #CFL kicked off the beginning of #CFLPink Games, an amazing initiative that helps to support and raise awareness for women’s cancer.

Week 17 kicked off the 1st of these aforementioned #CFLPink games when the #REDBLACKS and #Ticats did battle with 1st in the East up for grabs.

This game certainly had the feeling of 2 teams battling for the top spot in the division. In the end, the #REDBLACKS were able to pick up a HUGE win by the slimmest of margins.

The second game of our Friday DOUBLEHEADER was the rematch of a home and home between the #Bombers and #Lions. For the 2nd time in as many weeks, the #Bombers were able to tame the #Leos, largely in part to the play of Taylor Loffler (2 INTs & a Forced Fumble).

Also, it’s clear that Andrew Harris loves playing his former club:

On Saturday, we had another DOUBLEHEADER. Both of which were #CFLPink Games. First up, we had the #Riders heading to the 6ix to take on the #Argos. #Riderville ingrains their love of their team and #CFLPink at infancy and we LOVE IT!

This little one and the rest of #Riderville was all smiles Saturday afternoon as the #Riders put on quite a performance against the struggling #Argos

Our last game had the leagues best #Stamps hosting the #Als. This was not a great day to be a QB:

In the end, the game ended with how most #Stamps games end, a victory for the men in Red and White.

The losses by the #Als and #Argos coupled with the #REDBLACKS victory meant two things…

We will see this 2 squads in the #GCPlayoffs.
