Sights, Sounds and Social: Week 9 Edition

Sights Sounds and Social Week 9

Alfie sighting, Foley’s lighter side and #Ticats revenge

Week 9 is in the books and we have another edition of Sights, Sounds and Social.

This week’s slate of games started with a Friday Night DOUBLEHEADER. Our 1st game was an East Division clash between the #Als and #REDBLACKS. Longtime Ottawa Senators Captain Daniel Alfredsson. returned to rev up the Ottawa faithfu. As one would “obivously expect” Alfie came out weidling a chainsaw:

Despite Alfie’s presence, the #REDBLACKS fell way short to the #Als

The 2nd game of our DOUBLEHEADER was a battle of the league’s top 2 records as the #Lions hosted the #Stamps. The game had a historic start as Jason Arakgi became the #CFL All time leader in Special Team Tackles on the opening kickoff.

However, in similar fashion to the first game, we had another road team blowing out the host, as the #Stamps came away with a dominant 37-9 victory.

Saturday brought another DOUBLEHEADER. Our first game was a matinee match-up between the #Esks and #Argos.

Although, the #Esks dismantled the #Argos, there was a great moment prior to Kickoff for #Argos Defensive Lineman Ricky Foley who had some extra support from a special visitor:

Our last game of Week 9 had the #Riders visiting the Hammer to take on the #Ticats. In the week’s leading up to the game, the #Riders had already made their presence felt in Hamilton.

However, this tactic backfired on the #Riders and the #Ticats certainly got their revenge by putting up a 50 BURGER.

Oh ya… and the #Ticats responded to the #Riders in the end:
