Eight members of the Calgary Stampeders took to the pebbled ice Tuesday night as the gridiron regulars were assigned to a province for the 2015 Tim Hortons Brier pre-game introductions.

Representing the Stampeders were Bo Levi Mitchell, Jon Cornish, Keon Raymond, Randy Chevrier, Deron Mayo, Brander Craighead, Jabari Arthur and Rob Cote.

The evening of course was highlighted by the Team Alberta vs. Team Canada showdown. Grey Cup MVP Mitchell led Team Alberta while four-time Most Outstanding Canadian award winner Jon Cornish led Team Canada.

On the ice, Team Canada beat Team Alberta in the feature draw by a score of 6-3.

After the pre-game ceremonies, the Stamps headed up to the main concourse of the Scotiabank Saddledome and the eight Grey Cup champions signed autographs for hordes of fans.

Following the autograph session, the boys watched the remainder of the curling.

Mitchell, the newly extended quarterback, raved about the event.

“I studied it a bunch on YouTube before coming tonight,” said the Katy, Tex., product. “I tried to learn the ins and outs but man, you really get an appreciation for the sport seeing it live.”
